Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1 – Fly & welcome to Paris

Arrive at the airport in Paris and get transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is for leisure, so you can relax after a long-haul flight. Paris, the capital of France is a major European city and center for gastronomy, art, culture and fashion. Its 19th-century cityscape is covered with broad boulevards, the Seine River, lively cafes, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral and stylish boutiques along the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore street. (Packed Indian dinner included).

Day 2 – Explore Paris

Start your day with a refreshing continental breakfast and proceed for a guided orientation tour of Paris covering popular attractions like Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame de Paris, Place de la Concorde, Palais Garnier Opera, Louvre Pyramid, Musee d’Orsay, Montmartre, Champs Elysees Street, Alexander Bridge, Concords Square, a journey to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower for breathtaking views and many other historic buildings. Later on, enjoy a beautiful cruise on River Seine and have a delicious Indian dinner.

Day 3 – Paris – Rhine Falls – Zurich

Have a continental breakfast, check out and board your coach to drive to Switzerland. En-route, stop at Schaffhausen which is prevalently known as Rhine Falls – the Mini Niagara Falls of Europe. Enjoy a boat ride at Rhine Falls if you wish to (ticket not included). Upon arrival in Zurich, relish a delicious dinner at an Indian restaurant and proceed to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel. Behold the scenic beauty of Switzerland, its medieval quarters, Bern’s Zytglogge Clock Tower and Lucerne’s wooden chapel bridge. After a wonderful tour, enjoy a lovely Indian dinner and end the day.

Day 4 – Zurich – Excursion to Mt. Titlis – Zurich

Have a delicious continental breakfast and proceed to Engelberg town – a base cable car station of Mt. Titlis. The Titlis Rotair revolving gondola transports you up to the mountain station. Visit one of the world’s highest watch shops – the Swiss Lion shop and get your picture in a traditional Swiss costume. Head to The Glacier Cave, which is only a snowball’s throw distance from the mountain station. The ice tunnel leads deep down into a fascinating world inside the glacier. In the summer months, the Ice Flyer chair lift will take you to the glacier park where all kinds of fun snow activities await you. Grab a speedy sled or snow tube and whiz down the piste, whipping up plenty of snow as you go. You may also get to the Titlis Cliff Walk – a pedestrian bridge along the cliff of Mount Titlis in the Swiss Alps. Later in the noon, proceed to the city of Lucerne for an orientation tour and see The Chapel Bridge. It is a covered wooden footbridge spanning diagonally across the Reuss River in Lucerne and holding paintings that date back to the 17th century. Visit Jesuit Church, which is considered to be the first large baroque style church ever built in Switzerland. The Lion of Lucerne is a spectacular rock relief in Lucerne that you just cannot miss. Then return to Zurich and relish a good Indian dinner.

Day 5 – Zurich – Excursion to Jungfrau – Zurich

After a refreshing continental breakfast, you can choose an optional excursion to the famous Mt. Jungfrau – the Top of Europe. Our coach will drop you at Interlaken. The highest railway station in Europe is located 3,454 m above sea level. Experience the magic at a high-alpine wonderland of snow, ice and rock, from the viewing platforms on the Aletsch Glacier or Ice Palace. Visit the Sphinx observation tower and proceed for an orientation tour of Interlaken. Start from Hoheweg, which is the main street in Interlaken stretching from the city’s central square to the east and visit the Roman Catholic Church on Schlossstrasse. Those who have not opted for Mt. Jungfrau excursion will have an opportunity to take a tour of Interlaken. End the day with a filling Indian dinner.

Day 6 – Zurich – Vaduz (Liechtenstein) – Wattens – Innsbruck (Austria)

Treat yourself to a delicious continental breakfast, check out from the hotel and board your coach to drive to Innsbruck. You will pass through Vaduz, the capital city of the princely country of Liechtenstein. Take a quick stop in Vaduz and take some time to explore the city. Later on, drive to Wattens and behold the noteworthy collection of world famous Crystals in Swarovski museum. You will also be surprised to see ‘Chetak’ – the favorite horse of Maharaja Rana Pratap of Rajasthan, ornamented with Swarovski’s Gemstone Jewels. Enjoy some time for shopping jewelry and other souvenirs as a symbol of love and remembrance of this exotic place. Drive to Innsbruck and on arrival, enjoy your dinner at an Indian restaurant, before proceeding to the hotel and checking in.

Day 7 – Innsbruck – Venice/Padova (Italy)

After a filling continental breakfast, check out and board your coach for an orientation tour of Innsbruck – the capital of Tyrol Province, Austria. Visit the Goldenes Dachl, Imperial Palace, Maria Theresa square, the Golden Roof, Royal Church, River Inns etc. Then proceed towards Venice/Padova. On arrival, enjoy a guided panoramic tour of Venice, where you will go on a beautiful Vaporetto ride, descending to the Venice Island. Discern the ‘real Venice’ by inflowing a knot of slender lanes and passages. At Saint Mark’s Square, you will get an insight onto the history that lies behinds the walls of its most famous landmarks; Also explore the Basilica and its Byzantine heritage, Venetian, the Doge’s Palace and its contiguous prisons, St. Mark Cathedral, Bell Tower with Bridge of Sighs, Murano Glass factory etc. Finally, check in to the hotel and relish a lovely Indian dinner.

Day 8 – Venice/Padova (Italy)-Pisa- Florence

Enjoy a delicious continental breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Pisa to visit the famous Field of Miracles. Behold the flawless Baptistery & Leaning Tower of Pisa (one of the Seven Wonders of the World), with a stop for taking pictures. Proceed towards Florence, which is home to some amazing masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture. On Arrival in Florence, you will go on a guided walking tour of the city and see the Duomo of Florence (the largest brick dome ever created), the Basilica of Santa Croce (the final burial place of Michelangelo), Replicas of Michelangelo’s David, the famous Ponte Vecchio Bridge on the Arno River and the Piazalle Michelangelo. Then end the day with a scrumptious Indian dinner.

Day 9 – Florence – Rome

After a sumptuous continental breakfast, check out from the hotel and board your coach to depart for Rome. On arrival, you will embark upon a guided orientation tour of Rome, with stopovers at St. Peter’s Basilica, the Colosseum, the grand remnants of the Forum & other famous monuments built by ancient Roman rulers. Visit The Trevi Fountain in Trevi district, which was beautifully designed by the Italian architect Nicola Salvi and brought to completion by Pietro Bracci. Furthermore, visit The Pantheon, a beautiful church (formerly a Roman temple) and head to the popular Piazza Navona square in Rome, built on the Stadium of Domitian site. The Spanish Steps make another must-visit attraction steps in Rome, which form a steep slope between the Piazza Trinita dei Monti and Piazza di Spagna at the base, further dominated by Trinita dei Monti church (at the top). Then check in at the hotel and relish a delicious Indian dinner.

Day 10 – Rome Airport

You will be transferred to the Airport in Rome after a delicious breakfast. Fly back to India with good memories
