Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Jaipur

Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. After relaxing for some time, proceed to visit the City Palace in the afternoon, which is still, a formal residence of the royal family. Also visit Chandra Mahal, Shri GovindDeo Temple and the City Palace Museum, which houses the private collection of Jaipur Maharajas. Thereafter, visit JantarMantar, an observatory made of stone and the largest of Jai Singh’s five remarkable observatories. Stay overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 2: Jaipur

After enjoying breakfast, proceed to visit the Amber Fort, approximately 11 kilometers away from Jaipur. En route, visit the HawaMahal. The Amber Fort was the ancient capital of Kachawaha dynasty before Jai Singh founded Jaipur. Take an elephant ride to reach the gates of the fort. In the afternoon, take a walk through the colorful Bazaar of Jaipur and visit a factory to witness the famous block-printing work. Block-printing is a specialty of Jaipur. In the evening, drive through the new city of Jaipur and visit Laxmi Narayan Mandir, a Hindu temple built with white marble. Stay overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 3: Jaipur – Pushkar

After enjoying breakfast, check out from the Hotel & drive to Pushkar, which is one of the most important pilgrimage places of Hindus and is famous for having the only temple in the world, dedicated to Lord Brahma. Enroute to Pushkar, visit Dargah Sharif at Ajmer. On arrival at Pushkar, visit the famous Brahma Temple. Plan your travel in accordance with the annual Camel Fair. Take a holy dip in the Pushkar Lake and visit its 52 bathing Ghats and more than 500 temples. Each of them has their own legends of miraculous powers and powers of healing and display a variety of architectural styles. Pushkar is also known all over the world for its beautiful roses and rose essence. In the evening, visit the Rose Garden. Stay overnight at the hotel in Pushkar.

Day 4: Pushkar – Jodhpur (200 kms /5-6 hours)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Jodhpur in the early morning. Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan and is also known as the blue city as most of the houses here, are painted blue. The old city is surrounded by a 10 km long wall, which has 101 bastions and seven gates. On your tour of Jodhpur you visit the Mehrangarh Fort, which was built on a steep hill. The fort is among the best in India with exquisitely latticed windows in residential complexes. Later, proceed to visit the JaswantThada, a royal cenotaph built in white marble. You can also stroll down the markets of Jodhpur. Stay overnight at the hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 5 : Jodhpur

After Breakfast, explore the various museums that house the finest artifacts of the Royal family of Jodhpur. Enjoy the evening at leisure exploring textile and antique markets. Stay overnight at the hotel

Day 6 : Jodhpur – Udaipur (256 kms/5 hours)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the capital of The Erstwhile Kingdom of Mewar –Udaipur, enroute visit the famous Ranakpur Temples. Arrive at Udaipur and check into the hotel, rest of the Day free to Relax or explore this enchanting “Venice of East” at your own pace. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7 : Udaipur

After breakfast, start your sightseeing tour with a visit to Saheliyon-Ki-Bari &MaharanaPratapSmarak. Then you may proceed to visit Museum of Folk Art, which has a rich collection of folk dresses, puppets, dolls, masks, ornaments, folk musical instruments and paintings on display. Thereafter, visit the City Palace, the biggest palace complex in India, where four generations of Maharajas added mansions and palaces. Also visit the museum at the palace, which includes the beautiful peacock mosaic and miniature wall paintings of Indian mythology. In the evening, take a boat ride on the lake Pichola. Stay overnight at the hotel in Udaipur.

Day 8 : Udaipur  Departure

After breakfast, check-out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your return flight.
